We believe you will thrive in the Level III Network Technician role if you possess:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience troubleshooting workstations/laptops and business-class printers in Microsoft environments.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Windows Server troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Experience supporting users with day-to-day Microsoft 365 tasks and account management.
  • Hands-on experience working with:
  • N-Central (N-Able) RMM tool
  • Backup solutions (Solarwinds, Datto)
  • Antivirus and security monitoring tools
  • SonicWall or similar firewalls
  • VPN setup and support
  • ESXi and VMware virtual environments
  • Azure basic hosting access and troubleshooting
  • LogMeIn Rescue, Remote Desktop, or N-Able Take Control
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Pro and related hardware components

As our Level III Network Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing great customer support via phone, email, remote tools, and onsite.
  • Troubleshooting access issues, new user setups, printing errors, and more.
  • Monitoring and resolving alerts from our NOC and backup systems.
  • Participating in Daily Huddles and weekly team meetings.
  • Documenting work thoroughly in our ticketing system with screenshots, notes, and time worked.
  • Following and improving maintenance checklists and processes.
  • Conducting routine antivirus and backup checks and responding to issues.
  • Performing on-site client visits (must have a personal vehicle).
  • Collaborating with our IT Coordinator on project timelines and ticket updates.
  • Supporting small to mid-sized clients (10–200 users) in diverse environments.

Skills & Competencies for Success in This Role:

  • Sharp troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation habits.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, especially in client-facing situations.
  • Understanding of small business network environments (LAN/WAN).
  • Familiarity with Password Vaults such as PassPortal.
  • Comfort with math, time tracking, and report review.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and accountability.
